    St Vincent’s Voice Clinic offers specialist services to people who are experiencing difficulties with their voice. The Voice Clinic team includes two Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, a Speech Pathologist and a Counsellor. The Clinic runs Voice Workshops for Teachers throughout the school year.

    Helen Brake, BA (Linguistics), BApplSc(SpPath), MCogSc., is Speech Pathologist-in-Charge at St Vincent’s Hospital, and specialises in the management of voice disordered clients. She co-ordinates St Vincent’s Voice Clinic and St Vincent’s Voice Laboratory which provides detailed computerised analysis of the voice. She lectures Speech Pathologists in the area of Voice Disorders and has presented clinical research at professional conferences. Her clinical caseload includes professional voice users such as teachers, lecturers and singers.
