“Healthy Eyes: What you can do”

Session outline:
The Optometrists of Teachers Eyecare will be running workshops which will focus on what you can do to keep your eyes healthy and preserve good vision.
 
In small groups we will be discussing the signs and symptoms of common eye conditions. Following this, you will ba armed with the best ways to improve the health of your eyes, including eye exercises, nutrition and eye protection.
 
Included in this workship will be screening for diseases such as:
  • Macular Degeneration
  • Glaucoma
  • Diabetic eye disease

Retinal photos and eye pressure tests will be used to assess the back of your eyes.

There will be plenty of time to ask the questions that you were always hesitant to ask your Optometrist.
