Dr. Terri Foran is a Sexual Health Physician and has a special interest in contraception, menopause issues and the management of sexually transmitted infections. She was from 1998 until 2004, the Medical Doctor of FPA Health (formerly Family Planning NSW) and is in private medical practice in Darlinghurst. She holds the position of Lecturer at the University of New South Wales in the School of Women’s and Children’s Health and also works as a medical officer at the Menopause Unit at the Royal Hospital for Women. Dr. Foran is currently the monthly Women’s Health columnist for Australian Doctor Magazine.
- Session Outline
Menopause- To provide an overview of menopausal symptoms and available therapies, with particular emphasis on the controversies surrounding conventional hormone replacement therapy and the growing use of alternative therapies.
