- Presenters Bio The National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) was founded in 1920 and is Australia’s only national professional body of medical herbalists. The NHAA provides services, education and support for the professional practitioner, promotes herbal medicine within the community and actively develops and maintains legislative and regulatory matters with government and industry. The NHAA publishes the Australian Journal of Medical Herbalism, runs a triennial International Conference on Phytotherapeutics and annual state seminars, hosts a comprehensive website including practitioner referral details, maintains an extensive herbal and naturopathic library to service the needs of herbalists and naturopaths in Australia and overseas.
